ALL EYES ON YOU

Did I get your attention?
Good.
In this day and age, we're all about screen time rather than actual face time. This isn't news.
But apparently your daily screen time may interfere with your natural circadian rhythm. Blue light - the light emitted primarily from the sun, but also your computer, phone and television--can negatively impact your body's production of melatonin, which rules your sleep cycle.
Here are some hard hitting facts:
Blue light is the highest energy with the shortest wavelength form of visible light on the spectrum;
We're all exposed to blue light every day via the sun and our screens;
It's the amount of time and proximity to blue light emitting devices that has both eye doctors and scientists concerned.
Thankfully, good companies with great causes made by grandiose humans out there have realized that we can do better at filtering out blue light and ultimately helping to protect our precious photoreceptors. Like this one.
Besides, the next time you're working hard (or hardly working) at Intelligentsia Coffee with your delicious cup of iced matcha with oat milk, your blue light glasses help you nail that arcane writer look.
