Herbivore Botanicals: Bakuchiol Serum

A new serum from beloved vegan skincare brand Herbivore Botanicals! The hero ingredient, Bakuchiol, helps repair skin texture with added polyhydroxy acids to resurface and strengthen. Another added bonus, tremella mushroom, holds up to 500x its weight in water. The result? Glowing skin for days.

Bakuchiol is a safe alternative to retinol and is just as effective. Ideal for those pregnant or with super sensitive skin.

I'm currently on my second bottle in two months and I must say it comes pretty close to my go-to retinol (which I will feature in a later product review post). The serum's color is an ethereal amethyst purple and is bouncy in consistency. I personally prefer to drop 2-3 drops into the palm of my hand and with the opposite hand, swipe the serum across my forehead, my chin and both cheeks. Then, with the leftover serum on the palm of my hand, I will press the serum onto my face in order to allow my skin to absorb the product.

Next, simply turn in for some shut-eye and wake up with glowing. bouncy skin!
